The difference betweeen classic lashes and hybrid lashes is in the application technique. Classic lashes are one lash extension per natural lash. Hybrid lashes are a mixture of classic and volume lashes. Volume lashes are multiple lashes on one natural lash.

Between these two types, classic lashes tend to appear more natural because the end result relies heavily on how many natural lashes you have. If your natural lashes are thin and sparse, classic lashes may further emphasis these features. On the other hand, hybrid lashes tend to appear more voluminous because the end results aren't restricted by the amount of natural lashes you have. If your natural lashes are sparse and have gaps, hybrid lashes will help fill in those gaps and give the illusion of more lashes and a darker lash line.

A full set covers every single natural eyelash and a half set covers every other natural eyelash. In other words, a half set is basically half of a full set. It's meant to look more natural and is a great introduction to eyelash extensions if you've never had your lashes done before.

If this is information overload, don't fret! The reason why I offers a variety in curl types, widths, and lengths is because eyelash extensions are not one size fits all. What works for your friend, might not work for you. Everyones eyelashes are different and each individual eyelash that we have may not all be the same. Through your initial consultation, I will assess your natural eyelashes and that will determine what will be used to help you acheive your desired look without damaging your natural lashes.

Yes, same day appointments are accepted, but keep in mind that it is a rare occurence. It's typical for clients to book at least two weeks in advanced, so my schedule does fill up quickly.

If there is no availability for your requested date and time, you can ask to placed on the waiting list. In the event of a cancellation, you will be contacted in a first come first serve basis.

I try to respond to every inquiry as swiftly as possible. Being the sole operator of Mahal Lashes, please take into consideration that during business hours, if you don't recieve a quick response that means I am currently servicing a client.

Typically, inquiries receieve a response back at the end of business hours. Preferred method of contact is via e-mail and text message as response time is much quicker. Yes. In order to book and reserve an appointment, a 50% deposit is required. Deposits will be made through venmo.

If you are getting lash extensions for a special occasion (photoshoot, wedding, vacation, etc.) and you want your lashes to look the fullest they possibly can, I recommend that you schedule an appointment 1 to 3 days prior. Reason being, humans shed approximately 2 to 5 eyelashes per upper eye, per day (that's averaged at about 3 eyelashes per eye, per day). If you schedule an appointment 2 weeks beforehand, you will have lost roughly 42 lash extensions. And depending on how many natural eyelashes you have (plus other varying factors), by the time your special occasion rolls around your lashes might look like they need a little TLC.

Yes, there are 3 things I ask you to do before each lash application:

1. Please refrain from using any eye creams or moisturizers on your eye area the night before and day of your appointment. Too much moisture will not allow the eyepads and tape to adhere properly to your skin. When this happens, it's possible for bottom lashes to slip up from beneath the eyepads and get caught to the top lashes during application.

2. Please come to every appointment with clean lashes. The more time spent cleaning your lashes, means less time spent applying lashes.

3. Please hold off on any caffeinated beverages at least two hours before your appointment. Due to the large amounts of caffeine in most beverages (e.g., coffee and energy drinks), it can cause uncontrollable restlessness, as well as increased heart rate and breathing rate. The result of these side effects is jittery eyes, which make it almost impossible to apply eyelash extensions.

Although these guidelines are not mandatory, I would greatly appreciate it if you can make the effort to follow them.

Upon your scheduled appointment time, I ask that you allow me to arrive 15 minutes prior.

If this will be your first appointment with Mahal Lashes, this extra time will allow for work station set-up, an in-person consultation, and allow you to read and sign the client consent form.

In the the case that you're a returning client, this extra time will allow for work station set-up and a quick chat about your lashes before we get started.

I want you to reap the full benefits of your service, so by allowing me to arrive early, I can ensure you that will happen. If thats not possible, it's completely fine. Just keep in mind that the time it take to accomplish these tasks will cut into your appointment time.
